1. Scope of Services
Universal Secur provides a multi-faceted platform for the security industry:
- Security Services: Provision of armed and unarmed contract security personnel for corporate, residential, and institutional clients.
- Professional Training: State-certified and specialized training programs for security professionals.
- Job Placement: Assistance for certified individuals in finding employment within our network or with third-party partners.
2. Security Guard Services (Clients)
- Service Agreements: All guard services are subject to a separate signed Service Level Agreement (SLA) or Contract. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and a signed SLA, the SLA shall prevail.
- Independent Contractor Status: Universal Secur acts as an independent contractor. Our guards are employees of Universal Secur, and we remain responsible for their payroll, taxes, and basic insurance.
- Liability Limitations: While we strive to provide the highest level of protection, Universal Secur does not guarantee that our services will prevent all incidents of loss, theft, damage, or injury. Our liability is limited to the extent defined in the specific Service Agreement.
3. Training Programs & Certification
- Eligibility: To enroll in armed or unarmed training, you must meet state-mandated requirements (e.g., minimum age, criminal background checks, and legal residency).
- Refund Policy: Fees for training courses are generally non-refundable once the course has commenced. Cancellations made more than [7] days prior to the start date may be eligible for a partial refund or credit toward future training.
- No Guarantee of Certification: Enrollment in a course does not guarantee a passing grade or state certification. Candidates must meet all performance and examination standards as required by law (e.g., TN Private Protective Services or AR State Police rules).
4. Job Placement Assistance
- No Guarantee of Employment: Universal Secur provides job placement assistance and networking opportunities. We do not guarantee employment to any student or applicant.
- Information Accuracy: Candidates are responsible for providing truthful and accurate information in resumes and applications. Any discovery of falsified information will result in immediate removal from the placement program.
- Third-Party Employers: When we facilitate a placement with a third-party corporation, the employment contract is strictly between the candidate and that employer. Universal Secur is not liable for the actions, omissions, or employment practices of third-party partners.
5. Website Use & Intellectual Property
- Proprietary Content: All content on this Site, including logos, text, training materials, and graphics, is the intellectual property of Universal Secur. You may not reproduce or distribute these materials without express written consent.
- Prohibited Conduct: You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose, including “scraping” data, attempting to bypass security protocols, or misrepresenting your identity.
6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
- “As-Is” Basis: The Site and its informational content are provided “as-is.” We do not warrant that the Site will be error-free or uninterrupted.
- General Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Universal Secur shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Site, training, or security services.
